Taiwan star rating system helps travelers choose their accomodations

The rating system, introduced in 2010, helps travelers tailor their vacation to their exact specifications.

TAIPEI – Rated from one to five stars, star rated hotels range from humble to ultra-luxurious and can accommodate all types of tourists including but not limited to backpackers, business travelers and families.

The rating system, introduced in 2010, helps travelers tailor their vacation to their exact specifications. As cultural design increases in popularity, many Star Hotels have blended their services to focus on local culture and aesthetic ingenuity. One such hotel is Grand View Resort Beitou, which has taken “New Oriental” imagery to create a low-key luxury experience. Close to the famous YangMing Mountain National Park in Taipei, guests can relax and take in the tranquility of the mountain without leaving the city. Guests staying at the Grand View Resort Beitou will be able to enjoy “270-Degree Mountain View Authentic Cuisine”, a pure white sulfur hot spring and visit the world’s most beautiful library – Beitou Library.

Another hotel, Hotel Royal Chiaosi, is situated on an elevated position in Yilan County. The hotel not only has views of the beautiful Lanyang Plain, but also gives guests the opportunity to taste the freshest locally grown vegetables and sample locally caught seafood. The hotel also has the first indoor & outdoor connecting hot spring bath in Taiwan. Leave stress behind and rejuvenate in the “Beautifying Mineral Hot Spring”.

Hualien Promisedland Resort & Lagoon has also blended its approach via its Spanish Gaudi style design. Each room has different seasonal views of the beautiful East Rift Valley and its lagoons. Guests can enjoy a pleasant boat tour around the resort on the magnificent 2.2 km man-made canal.

Stay at a star rated hotel and tour around Taiwan, feast on gourmet foods, enjoy the great service, see the lovely smiles and enjoy a warm welcome from the locals.
