Bangkok, Thailand -- Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas celebrates a total of 21 accolades in the 2019 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. Readers of the prestigious magazine recognised Anantara properties across the highly coveted categories and ranked them among the very best hotels. In the Middle East, Anantara properties received fantastic results, claiming five spots. The well-heeled readers recognise top quality service and voted Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort #2 Resort in Middle East, followed by #4 Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, #5 Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort, #6 Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara and #10 Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara.
In the colourful city of Bangkok, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel reigned supreme as it was voted #1 Top Hotel in Bangkok. Anantara Resorts were recognised throughout the Asia region with resorts from Thailand, Bali and Sri Lanka featuring in the relevant leaderboards. Based on impeccable service, delicious food and incredible atmosphere, loyal fans voted Anantara Hua Hin Resort #3 Top Resort in Thailand, closely followed by the jungle paradise Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort at #4, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas #6, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort #10, Anantara Layan Phuket Resort #11, Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas #16 and Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort #19. The charming Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort was awarded #10 for the Top 20 Resorts in Asia, and the beautiful cliff-top Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort was voted #6 for the Top 20 Resorts in Bali.
Amongst the resorts recognised in the Indian Ocean, Anantara properties received great results in the Top 30. Anantara Veli Maldives Resort was awarded #4 for its blissful environment and flawless service, followed by Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas at #6 and Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort #14. Further afield, The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara was voted #16 Top Hotels in Africa and Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort was named the #28 Top Resorts in Africa.
The incredible accolades stretched to Anantara sister properties in the Maldives, who repeated their excellent results of recent years with Naladhu Private Island Maldives being voted #1 Top Resorts in The Indian Ocean for the third year in a row, followed by Niyama Private Islands Maldives at #8.
