Really Really Cool (RRC) CEO Patee Sarasin, said, "The key reason why we are launching Really Really Cool application now is to help communities, small travel-related businesses including everything from attractions, restaurants, cooking classes, ski destinations, to anyone that offers an experience to customers when they travel to any given destination covered.
"These SMEs or businesses are going through a difficult time due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation that is happening around the world. We are looking for any way possible to assist them in this time of need."
The application, branded Really Really Cool, offers free entry for all travel-related businesses to sign up. It is meant to hopefully create another platform that will help generate business and bounce back when the coronavirus dies down.
The content on the RRC application currently includes over 500,000 products and services from third parties, SMEs, local businesses, and is constantly growing. Machine learning is used as a recommendation engine serves up personalized, relevant offers to travellers. It then uses data like geolocation, time, weather, and flight information and applies algorithms to combine it with other information including previous purchases and ratings, while cross analysing it with other similar users to recommend the best products and experiences.
